Register or Update your address

Ohio BLET members and their families can register to vote or update their residential and mailing addresses online. You will need your driver’s license or Ohio identification number, full name, date of birth, address, and last four digits of your Social Security Number. Please click here to visit the Secretary of State’s Online Voter Registration portal. Name changes must be done by mail – click here for more information about changing your name on your voter registration.

Voter ID Requirements

If you plan to voter in person, either at an early voting location or on election day at your polling location, you must have an approved, unexpired ID with your photograph and a name that substantially matches the name on the voter roll. You must have the physical ID with you – the Secretary of State is not presently accepting a digital ID stored in Apple Wallet for voting purposes. Our Endorsement Committee’s selections won their race over 91% of the time – Ohio House candidates won over 94% of the time.

Endorsements for the US Senate, Congress, the Ohio Legislature, and Statewide Offices will be determined by the BLET Ohio Endorsement Committee, appointed by the Board Chairman. The Executive Committee will informally consider endorsements for local races, ballot measures, and other offices as needed. Each candidate who seeks endorsement shall complete a questionnaire and be screened by the Chairman or Endorsement Committee.
